I don't know her otherwise. But I've been disappointed to find that she's pro-choice when it comes to reproductive rights, but when it comes to vaccinations, she's very much against parents having a choice.Besshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01422228819887965146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2738066875990661293.post-68313540147812751012012-02-18T21:45:12.129-08:002012-02-18T21:45:12.129-08:00"Our problem is that so many children are not..."Our problem is that so many children are not allowed to build immunity to natural childhood disease,ie measles, chicken pox, mumps. Instead we are tearing their systems down with neurotoxins and creating a massive mess in its place.
Besides...the herd immunity concept is absurd to begin with. The children who are not vaccinated are much healthier and stronger than kids who are....it is the children who are vaccinated who are in worse danger."S Loire Kinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15100695003422836850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2738066875990661293.post-3387264634744256322012-02-18T01:16:43.056-08:002012-02-18T01:16:43.056-08:00Some people are opposed to belief in God, yet they...Some people are opposed to belief in God, yet they will have blind, unquestioning faith in governmental authorities and the medical establishment. This is a mystery to me!
This is a good article. Everything that Amanda Marcotte says is irrational. She seems to be saying that it is okay to force your beliefs on others (unless you are an "anti-vaccination fanatic"--then it is not okay). She says, "Vaccination is just too democratic a practice. . . we all have to sit in the same chair while the same nurse pokes us with the same batch of drugs." It is common knowledge that some people are more vulnerable to harm from drugs--or from vaccination--than others. All persons' bodies are not the same. There have been about 100 or more deaths associated with the Gardasil vaccine, as well as many thousands of adverse reactions.
Regarding "your special snowflake of a child"--most parents feel their child is special, and that is the way it should be. A parent's primary duty is to protect his or her child from harm. Of course, we should also care about the welfare of all children.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2738066875990661293.post-41353089781635924202012-02-17T18:52:23.828-08:002012-02-17T18:52:23.828-08:00So, is it Marcotte or the Vaccine Machine who is i...So, is it Marcotte or the Vaccine Machine who is illiterate?
